About The Founder

Hey Everyone,

I am Aishwarya Sandeep, an Advocate based out of Mumbai. I practise mainly in the field of Intellectual Property Law and Media Laws since last 12 years. I was also a visiting professor of law in a couple of colleges.

I always felt that law needs to be simplified for the common man to understand. A lot of times, people are scared of the Judiciary and the Police, only because they are not aware about the system and that leads to a lot of corruption and loop holes in functioning of this Country. When I was working as a visiting professor, I realised that our legal education system is not practice oriented. It does not teach us the procedures or the implementation of the law, we are just taught about the existence of Law. I wanted to change the same and therefore, I changed my teaching methodology, but unfortunately, neither the students, nor the college authorities were interested in growing. Alas, we are all a part of the rat race.

With that dream, I started writing once again. I started writing on parenting and social issues on portals such as Momspresso (Where I have more than 3 million views on my articles), Youth Ki Awaaz, (where I was feautred in their special 10th Anniversary Edition). After winning several writing competitions organised by different brands, I started my website only to collate all my writings, which were published on other websites. I was just happy expressing myself, winning some random competition, doing short term courses (Like the Women Enterpreneur ship Program sponsored by Goldman Sacch and conducted by IIM Banglore), getting selected for fellowship by Youth Ki Awaaz. I also do work as a mentor with Jobs4Her, which is a portal working towards getting work back to their Second Career.

Till now most of the content that I had written about was parenting. I knew before I die, I want to create a platform, where Law is simplified for common man. Last year, I participated in a few Panel Discussions, and at the end of the Day, the solution to ever increasing crime was educating people about their rights. IF we introduce Law as a subject to school students, then all they would do is to mug up so that they can get some marks to succeed. But if we educate parents, then they can tell their children what is right and wrong and why a particular action is wrong.

Therefore, this site was created.

It is humanely impossible for me to create the entire content. Therefore, I decided to take help. Remember how I spoke about the Lacuna in our education system, I decided to hire Law students as interns and attempted to their outlook towards the implementation of law. If we have good citizens, who are more conscious about the law of the land, then we will have very few law breakers in future.

So, this website is my dream, which I want to share with the world.

Apart from this website and my other legal work, I also host Chai Pe Charcha on BabyChakra App once a week and do conduct my own show In Conversation with Aishwarya on Facebook.
